Brian started playing at the tender age of 9yrs with the Bedford Church band in Leigh.

He was a Police Officer with the Lancashire Constabulary but in 1978,had to take early retirement.

His playing career extends from Leigh Silver to The Lancashire Constabulary Band and even the World Famous Fodens Works Band.

In 1991 he joined the Goodshaw Band and has been an active member ever since. He lives with his wife and family in Leigh and has recently become a Grandfather
